 The cards are due after the monthly stamp of the month demonstration, which is usually the first Sunday of the month. We have a coffee gathering around 11:30am at the store.  The coffee is always optional, if you can't make it, you can place your cards in the mailboxes we hang up on the bulletin board at the back of the store.  You'll be able to pick up your cards here too.

Card exchanges are an opportunity for new and experienced card makers to participate in an activity that challenges them to make a set of cards.  Most people need deadlines.  With a definite due date, the exchange creates an incentive to create and finish cards. 

In a card exchange you are given a theme and asked to make a set of identical cards (usually 8-10.)  In this exchange, I am going to ask that each card feature some rubberstamping.

 The card exchange I am organizing will be as follows.  For exampe if  nine people are in the  exchange.  You will make ten cards; one for each of the participants in your exchange and one for me to display in our new “card creations” section.  This is such an exciting way to see what others are doing.  If you are a beginner, you will receive nine great cards to inspire you.  If you are experienced, the deadline will challenge you to keep honing your card making skills to create better and more elaborate cards. 

We can meet for coffee and a show and tell on the day the cards are due.  If you can’t make the coffee, you can still deliver your cards,
